Site Level Financial (“SLF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. We will not sell, lease, or exchange your personal data to, or otherwise share your personal data with, third parties in ways other than described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy serves to inform our users of how SLF, EllisDon Corporation, or any of our affiliates use the data that we collect, receive, and store about users in connection with the users’ use of the SLF website and the SLF platform.

SLF compiles with all Canadian laws with respect to the collection, use, and retentions of personal information.

Our Data Pledge

• We will protect your data as carefully as our own sensitive information,

• We will safeguard your data with high level security protocols, just as we do our own,

• We will encrypt any data shared and/or stored with SLF,

• All data is securely stored and backed up on servers located in Canada,

• We will not share your data with any third parties unless:

• It is with financial institutions using the SLF platform for invoice factoring or similar financing solutions,

• It is required for business purposes, with your permission,

• We will only contact you in relation to the SLF platform or for business purposes, never to sell unrelated products or services.

What type of personal information do we collect?

We collect information that is personally identifiable such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number(s), repayment track record, bank accounts, accounting information, contractor/subcontractor information, contractor/subcontractor contact information, information about your business (including project information, client information, historical information, and/or financial information, and/or tax information) and personnel, and any other information you may provide when you fill out a form on the SLF platform. 

When you contact us by email or sign-up to receive marketing emails, updates, and offers from SLF, we collect your email address and any information contained in that email. 

We may make use of cookies and/or log files. The information inside the cookies and log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us. We may use such information to analyze trends, administer the services provided on the SLF platform, track users’ movement around said services, and gather demographic information.

What Do We Use Your Data For? 

Any of the data we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To evaluate and conduct a business relationship with you,

• To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs),

• To improve the SLF platform (we continually strive to improve the SLF platform based on the information and feedback we receive from you),

• To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs),

• To send periodic promotional or information emails,

• To share with financial institutions also utilizing the SLF platform for the purposes of providing invoice factoring and/or similar financing solutions,

• To improve any business of SLF (including the business of its affiliates) including any businesses not directly related to the SLF platform, including, without limitation, the creation of any other products or information relating to said businesses.

The data you provide may be used to provide you with information and updates pertaining to the SLF platform you participate in, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. 

How Do We Protect Your Data?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your data. Our security protocols include advanced encryption techniques, regular security audits, and compliance with industry-standard certifications.  

We also employ commercially reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and management processes and procedures to safeguard and secure any data that we collect. Although SLF takes all precautions to safeguard any data collected, it cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with data, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access to your information will never occur. 

Do We Use Cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. 

We use cookies to compile aggregate data (“Aggregated Data” means records which have been stripped of information potentially identifying customers, landing pages or end-users, and which have been manipulated or combined to provide generalized, anonymous information) about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. For clarity, we may sell, trade or otherwise transfer data to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our SLF platform, conducting our business, providing credit information and/or solutions or servicing you (including financial institutions also utilizing the SLF platform for the purposes of providing invoice factoring and/or similar financing solutions), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.  

As described above, we may sell, trade or otherwise make use of the data in connection with our business purposes, including, in the creation and sale of other products or marketing materials used in the business of SLF (including the business of its affiliates), and including any businesses not directly related to the SLF platform. 

We may also release your data when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Visitor information that is not personally identifiable may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our SLF platform. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites. 

Any links to third party websites from the SLF platform are meant for your convenience only and do not in any way signify an endorsement by SLF of those websites, companies or content. SLF’s Privacy Policy does not apply to these outside websites.

The security of your data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards, including the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards, to protect the data submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality.  

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes in our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
